I was having my morning coffee doing the usual of scrolling through FB Marketplace looking for fun cars to buy. I came across a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that looked quite nice. Although it was an auto, it only had 81k miles and looked in great shape. You don’t see too many of these around.
Unfortunately the ad had no interior pics. BUT, I happened to actually be paying attention and realized that this was a used car dealership so I went over to their !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to see if I could find more pics.
And I’m glad I did.
It doesn’t seem like a big dealership, but below are some pics of their inventory. If I owned a dealership, this is probably the kind of stuff I’d keep around too!
Saabs, Jags, Volvos, wagons-galore!! This is amazing! I spent over an hour checking out all the different cars for sale here.
One car in particular stood out as a rather incredibly rare-boi. A Jalopnik-approved, AWD, Turbo, Manual, Wagon (Only missing the brown part).
I cut out the price, but $11500 for this Legacy Wagon with only 69k miles on it seems like it’s a pretty solid deal. If I lived on the other side of NY, I’d make a trip to this dealership to see some of these gems in person.
I have come across a dealership inventory like this in awhile, but its good to know that there are places like !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! who like to sell the kind of cool and obscure cars that many of us like.

I really hate it when people put up an ad with either no pics at all or pictures that add absolutely no value to the ad. How am I supposed to see what the car looks like when you took pictures at 3am in your driveway without any lights whatsoever??? Ow, look, a picture of.....something indistuingishably black, plasticy, something that MIGHT be attached to the car or could be a part from your coffee machine , can’t notice the difference when you have your phone zooming in 50x TIMES ON THE OBJECT YOURE PHOTOGRAPHING, NOW CAN I?????? ARE YOU ACTUALLY TRYING TO SELL THE DAMN CAR OR WHAT?!
Sorry, I didn’t have my morning coffee yet.

Unfortunately it's a salvage title. I read through the description and it discloses that. It also says that the dealership did the repairs and he has 'before' photos. That's really cool and upfront.
HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles

If I came into a million or so, I would open a dealership called “Just For Fun” and only buy and sell fun cars. Basically just a way to make my fun car purchase a business expense. And then sell them at retail prices

A friend of the family has a similar Legacy wagon in the same color in XT trim....lovely car, and it definitely goes when you put your foot in it...

Nice to be upfront, but that’s a lotta dough for a salvaged car, unicorn or not.

I won't disagree. I'm making some big car changes this year. In the spring I'm going to trade my STI in on my wife's new vehicle and then I'm going to drive her highlander til the lease is up. After that, I am going to be on the hunt for a unique daily, like many of the cars for sale on this dealers webpage. I would go and give this LGT an extensive look over but even still, I'd have a hard time pulling the trigger unless the photos of the damage weren't that bad

Even so - you’d have to explain that when you sell it and find an even smaller subset of the already tiny subset of buyers who values that LGT. Not worth it - that’s why I gave up looking for a cheaper S2000 and bought a Miata instead, they were all either wrecked rebuilds or crazy high miles.

There was a little used car dealership in Middleton , WI that i visited a few years back that allowed me to test drive a E46 M3, an E39 M5, and a first-gen CTS-V back to back. They had more stuff i wanted to drive, like an E60 5-series, but since i had no intention of buying, i didn’t want to push my luck.
